What you will learn
- Follow safety and emergency procedures, including safe handling of hazardous substances
- Measure, calculate and interpret simple drawings
- Carry out bench fitting and machining operations
- Check tractors before operation and work with attached implements
- Operate farm machinery and equipment
- Prepare agricultural equipment for servicing and repair
- Carry out preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections
- Service diesel fuel, steering, suspension and hydraulic systems
- Check, maintain and service combine-harvester systems
